Your contribution allows us to help more children with cancer!
After Christmas and the end of the year celebration, we continue working with great motivation for the welfare of children with cancer.
As every year, psychologist Sinders, who is also a childhood cancer survivor, goes to the hospitals to meet new patients, talk with the children's parents, and interact with doctors and nurses. The objective is to know the needs of children with cancer and provide all the possible support from the Foundation.
Last week we were with Paul, a 10-year-old boy diagnosed with acute leukemia, who recently received a bone marrow transplant as part of his treatment. From the Foundation we provide emotional support and advice to Paul and his mother, since this medical procedure always generates a lot of anxiety and fear. This is how we use our educational transplant kit called "Mom's Garden". The kit is a playful and informative tool that contains several elements that the child can use during hospitalization: an activity calendar, a soft blanket, a puzzle, and some grooming and self-care items. It also contains a primer and an educational video, which through an analogy explains what the transplant consists of. See video here:

Paul and his mother were calmer after accessing this material. His transplant is going well and Paul is in the recovery phase.
Like Paul, other boys and girls with cancer need help facing the treatment.
With your donation we can make more kit from mom's garden and positively impact the lives of children with cancer. Do you dare to help us?
