Mrs Adesokan khadija is a mother of two who enrolled at our project centre at about 15 weeks of gestation of the third pregnancy. She was promptly attended to and had all her routine antenatal bookings. She has since been showing up for her antenatal clinics as at when due together with other beneficiaries. Her health and that of her fetus was taken care of. She had all her Tetanus toxoid injections, malaria IPTs, and heamatinics as at when due respectively. Routine investigations were also carried out and all were good.
She was delivered of a bouncing baby girl in late December with no complications. This makes the 45th baby since the commencement of the project. This highly impactful project has suffered some setbacks owing lack of funds to fully implement all the project plans. However the main goal of the project which is to reduce fetal and maternal mortality as well as encouraging the local pregnant women to access professional services, is being achieved. Every donation made to this project will enable us provide free birthing consumables and antenatal services to these groups of women. These help to build a community of healthy mothers and babies. You donations in kind or cash is highly solicited to ensure the continuity of this project.
