Dr. Yofara is a a medical doctor, entrepreneur and graduate student in Clinical Nutrition at the University of Indonesia who pursued her Nutrition Coach Certification with the support of Wedu's education funding (FISAs) thanks to your help. This is her story.
After becoming a Rising Star at Wedu in November 2021, Yofara pursued a Nutrition Coach Certification with a FISA and utilised her knowledge to offer personalised nutrition consultations to people with metabolic syndrome through her venture Yumn! Healthy Eats. She credits the connections she has made through Wedu with mentors and fellow women leaders for opening doors for her to pursue her entrepreneurial ambitions and realise her full potential as a woman leader. She believes that every woman should have the opportunity to pursue higher education and personal development. As a Rising Star Ambassador, she is helping Wedu reach more Indonesian women changemakers. With her Master’s degree, she plans to continue to change the community’s relationship, mindset, and behaviour towards a healthy diet and lifestyle and help build a healthier world starting from Indonesia.
"I thank Wedu for believing in me. The nutrition certification I pursued with a FISA not only helped me in my nutrition coaching practice but also helped me land a scholarship for a Master's Degree.
The certification helped me get a chance to build my own start-up with other business professionals as part of venture capital Antler’s incubation programme. Before Wedu, I would have never imagined being a part of an international organisation. I hope I can continuously help other female leaders to grow through Wedu."
