Progress of the last three months

From  February to May 2015, over 100 cats have been sterilized in Blue Cross. These months have also been hectic with many rescues and adoptions.  Two cats have had their legs amputated and are now in our shelter. We are happy to share the rescue and recovery of one brave cat, Theo.

Theo, a brown and white male cat, was rescued by Blue Cross a month ago. Theo came in with an injured foreleg and was in obvious pain. His condition seemed serious and he was referred to a private feline clinic. The veterinarians, without wasting any time, operated on him and closed his wound with a flap. Theo is now recovering in the private clinic and should be soon upon on his feet.

Since fleas are a major problem for cats, we decided to give flea medication to the cats. The cats, numbering more than one hundred, in the shelter were administered spot-on to prevent fleas.  Remember Duke, who was featured in the previous report. Duke who had fractured both his forelegs is now able to carry on his daily activities with ease and loves his pal Duo. It is a pleasure to watch both of them together

All these happy stories are possible because of your kind donations. We thank you all and hope you will continue to support us in making a difference to the lives of animals.
