More than 4000 dogs and 100 cats have been sterilized from July to September 2014. All this is possible with your generous donations. The monsoon in Chennai is underway and these wet months see a large increase in the number of rescues which are mainly abandoned or injured puppies and kittens. We at Blue Cross provide them shelter, medical help and food.
We would also like to share the progress of our special kitty, Bandit. It has been one year since Bandit has been fitted with prosthetic legs. She is now one happy kitty, playing, romping and being her sweet self. Another story with a happy ending is our latest two-legged cat, Duo. He was rescued with both front legs crushed. He has undergone treatment and his wounds have almost healed. He has been vaccinated and neutered. He will now move into his new home.
These unfortunate cats and dogs get a second chance because of the support that we have received from our well wishers. We are grateful for all your kind and continued support.
