Happy and prosperous New Year!

On behalf of the Tumaini family, we would like to sincerely thank you for your continued support toward our cause. We have walked this journey together throughout the year, and as we come to its end, the achievements we celebrate are truly remarkable.

At the beginning of the year, we supported 300 pupils in primary school and 65 students in high school. We are grateful to report that none of these students dropped out or missed school due to lack of school requirements. All primary school pupils remained in school and received daily meals, while all high school students stayed in school with their fees fully paid.

This year, 30 students graduated from primary Grade Six and will be joining junior secondary school next year. Another 30 students graduated from junior secondary and will be joining high school, and 29 students graduated from high school and are now awaiting their results as they prepare to join universities and colleges in September 2026.

These milestones were made possible because of the generosity of people like you who have faithfully and sacrificially invested in the education of orphans and vulnerable children. We recognize that you have many other responsibilities, yet you chose to give and make a lasting difference in their lives.

Education remains one of the most powerful tools for breaking the cycle of poverty. Through your support, you have not only provided education but also given hope and a future. This impact extends beyond individuals to families and the wider community, creating lasting change.

The school holidays are over, and our students have returned for a short academic session before they break again for the long holidays in November. Our national exam candidates  Grade 6 (Primary), Grade 9 (Junior Secondary), and Form 4 (High School)  will remain in school to prepare and sit for their final exams.

We are pleased to report that the second semester was a great success. All students brought their report cards, and the majority showed strong academic performance. This encouraging progress is thanks to your continued support. Because of you, our students remained in school and had everything they needed for both academic success and personal well-being.

Currently, we have 58 high school students across various grades, and we’re happy to share that their fees were paid on time. We experienced a smooth term with no incidents, no dropouts, and no absenteeism, a reflection of the commitment from both students and supporters like you.

During the recent school break, our students were actively engaged in sports. We hosted a soccer tournament for both girls and boys, and invited teams from the local community to participate. These events are not only fun, but they also provide mentorship, boost confidence, and help students grow their talents beyond the classroom.

As we mark 20 years of service to vulnerable children, we are filled with gratitude. Because of your partnership, many lives have been transformed. Former students who have completed university are now employed, supporting their families, and giving back to the community, a true ripple effect of your generosity.

However, the need continues to grow. Many orphaned and vulnerable children in our community are still waiting for an opportunity. By sharing the incredible impact of this work with your family and friends, you can help us expand our sponsorship network and reach even more children in need.
