Project Report | Nov 1, 2017
The importance of children having fun and keeping safe

By Alejandro Vazquez | Logistics Manager GVI Mexico

Dear Supporters,

It is very important that staff working with children can prevent accidents and to respond immediately in case of any emergencies, in this instance our Community Projects Staff organized with the CEAI (Integral care centre) staff and Emergency First Response Care for Children Course to train new staff and to refresh the skills of the staff who were certified 2 years ago. For the CEAI staff it is very important to learn these skills as they have interaction with Special Needs Children and Adults every day, this training is valid for 2 years and material for review is available in their classrooms.

This quarter we donated some important devices to the 'Save the Children' Ludoteca, to improve the quality of the classes and provide important equipment to be more interactive with Children while learning their rights, values and responsibilities.

A camera that is shock proof and water proof will allow the teachers to create better reports for stakeholders and within the organization, a speaker that can be connected via Bluetooth will allow to control music from their phones in activities like warm ups and using other devices like computers or tablets for classes. Lastly a projector to replace the previous one they had that was broken recently. This projector permits the use of presentations, videos and software designs for learning.

By these donations we are contributing to the safety and improving the learning environment for kids that attend to our partner’s facilities for a better future.

Our donors play a massive part in what we do and we are so grateful for all of your contributions!
