There are three Schools for Deaf Ande Children in Kindu. Two schools are private and only one is public and belongs to Catholics; poor parents send their children to this school which is now in a state of disrepair ;
When it rains, classes stop because the house oozes everywhere, several children occupy the same bench, which is dangerous with COVID, latrines are clogged ....
These poor conditions discourage parents and children
The Project restores the 4 classrooms, planned provides the school with benches and chairs and unclogs the latrines. This work will improve the study conditions of the 67 vulnerable children and encourage parents to keep their children at this school for training
Unfortunately, the project was unsuccessful; no one contributed this quarter, and we are considering retiring the project.
Look at the image and you will be disappointed
