restore 4 classrooms for 67 poor deaf and dumb

Project 57376 concerns the rehabilitation of a school for very poor deaf and dumb children
The MAPENDO KWA WOTE Institute is a school for deaf and mute people in the commune of Kasuku in the Town of Kindu in the Province of Maniema in the Democratic Republic of Congo <. The school has been in existence for more than two decades .
This institute belongs to the Catholic Priests who installed it in the concession of the Center for the Disabled, also called MAPENDO KWA WOTE, in the Diocese of Kindu and must be rehabilitated to save the children who study in this school.
Until today, the Project has not yet managed to raise a sufficient amount of money to rehabilitate this school despite our awareness-raising efforts. In fact, out of 20,000 dollars requested, we only got 417 dollars in 2023. In 2024 , we have not received any money; Today, the roof is in very poor condition and it is the rainy season.

Restore 4 Classrooms for 67 poor deaf and dmb

With this very small amount, we bought only a few benches and we have already made two reports on this purchase of benches. This is regrettable

Report of project restore 4classrooms for 67deaf

Avec Votre contribution, Maniema Libertés prévoit de remettre en état 4 salles de classe pour permettre à 67 enfants sourds-muets issus de familles pauvres de la ville de Kindu d’étudier dans des salles qui ne suintent pas quand il pleut. Il faut aussi doter l’école de bancs, de chaises et de tables pour permettre aux enfants de bien s’asseoir et de bien écrire, car plusieurs enfants occupent le même banc, ce qui est dangereux dans le contexte du COVID.
Déboucher également les latrines et disposer les portes et les fenêtres. Notre projet a jusqu’à présent récolté 260 dollars sur les 20 000 dollars demandés (donc 1%) alors que les besoins sont immenses. GlobalGiving garde toujours l’argent parce qu’il est encore trop peu
Notre projet a permis d’amasser 417 $ à ce jour sur les 20260 $ sollicités ; Les besoins sont immenses. GlobalGiving nous a envoyé cet argent et nous avons acheté quelques bancs. Nous avons eu le rapport la dernière fois et depuis ce temps, les donateurs n’ont pas encore apporté d’autre aide et c’est vraiment triste. Bientôt, la saison des pluies va commencer et le toit suinte partout. Comment trouver d’autres donateurs pour aider les enfants en difficulté ? C’est le gros problème pour nous
