By Adalbert Shabani Bamwe | I am the Executive Director of Maniema Libertes,
With this project, we hoped to improve the learning conditions of these poor, deaf-mute children by carrying out the following work: repairing the leaky roof, equipping the school with benches for students and chairs and tables for teachers, rebuilding the toilets, etc.
Unfortunately, no one contributed anything to this commendable project. The photos taken yesterday demonstrate the dilapidated state of the buildings.
So, we received nothing, and therefore, our report is truly negative
Les enfants pauvres continuent à étudier dans des très mauvaises conditions , c’est vraiment triste
Poor children continue to study in very poor conditions; it's truly sad.
Indeed, when it rains, classes are suspended because the roof leaks.
The toilets are in poor condition, and this poses a health risk to the children.
