Sounds for Life works so that Guatemalan children and young people, in situations of risk, can have the opportunity to move away from the social dangers that are increasing.
Music gives all these children that feeling of growing, of seeing themselves better at what they do and of feeling capable of achieving those goals that are set.
In this sense, "Un gran concierto" always represents for them A GREAT ACHIEVEMENT. The fact of being able to be part of this type of event means that they achieved a series of objectives in their musical development. But all that implies that he has achieved many more objectives that are not visible to the naked eye. It means that they have achieved a certain level of discipline in their work, they have achieved perseverance, they have developed responsibility, and that among many other things that really allow them to transform their way of seeing life and the way they face it as well.
In 2024 we reached about 115 students to whom we were able to provide musical instruments for their personal use, support materials such as sheet music, in addition to all those elements necessary for their classes to be effective; elements such as: the teachers who attend them, the classrooms, the audio equipment to work, and many more things that are only noticed in the day-to-day of this work.
When you support Sounds for Life, you are enabling more children to have access to musical instruments and classes completely free of charge, in the best possible infrastructure conditions.
Thank you for helping us continue to provide this opportunity to more Guatemalan children in need.
