Nigeria is home to over 24 million women and girls married before the age of 18 , the highest absolute number in the world. For girls and young women with disabilities, being counted among these statistics often means facing multiple layers of discrimination and vulnerability—especially in regions like Guma LGA, where social safety nets are weak and stigma is strong.
Our project uniquely positions itself to reach those who are most often overlooked. With your support, we will provide 50 women and girls with disabilities with access to legal support, education, psychosocial assistance, and safe spaces where they can heal and rebuild. Our community outreach also includes raising awareness about the rights and needs of disabled women, encouraging families and leaders to reject discrimination and embrace inclusion.
Donor contributions directly translate into action: more survivors receiving help, more advocates trained, and more communities educated about the value and potential of every woman and girl. By funding this initiative, you help us build a society where no one is invisible or left behind.
Your generosity ensures that the most marginalized are protected and empowered to become change-makers in their communities. Stand with us to create a Nigeria where every woman and girl, regardless of ability, can live free from fear and oppression.
