Stand With Women Who Refuse to Be Defined by Violence
Behind every survivor is a story of extraordinary courage. The women and girls GoGreen serves have endured conflict, discrimination, exclusion, and gender-based violence. Yet they continue to dream of a future where they can learn, work, raise families, and contribute fully to their communities.
That future is possible—but they cannot reach it alone.
UNFPA describes gender-based violence as one of the world's most pervasive human rights violations, with devastating consequences for women's health, dignity, safety, and economic participation. Preventing violence requires more than responding after abuse occurs; it requires investing in education, community leadership, survivor-centred services, and social change.
This is exactly what GoGreen is doing in Benue State.
By partnering with women with disabilities, local leaders, youth groups, and community advocates, we are helping build safer, more inclusive communities where every woman is valued and protected. Through legal support, psychosocial care, rights awareness, livelihood assistance, and disability-inclusive advocacy, survivors gain the tools they need not only to recover, but to lead change for others.
When you donate to this project, you are investing in lasting impact.
You are helping prevent violence before it happens.
You are restoring dignity to survivors.
You are strengthening local leadership.
You are building communities where girls grow up knowing their rights, their worth, and their potential.
Together, we can ensure that disability never becomes a reason for violence, exclusion, or silence.
Together, we can help create a future where every woman lives free from fear and full of hope.
