Help a Survivor Become a Leader
The strongest communities are those where every woman has the opportunity to live safely, participate fully, and lead without fear.
Yet for many women and girls with disabilities in Northern Nigeria, violence and discrimination continue to limit those opportunities. Harmful social norms, conflict, and poverty leave many isolated from education, healthcare, justice, and economic opportunities. Too often, survivors are left without the support they need to recover.
The World Health Organization and UN Women have highlighted that women with disabilities remain underrepresented in violence data and frequently encounter additional barriers to accessing protection and essential services. Improving disability-inclusive responses is critical to ending violence against women and girls.
GoGreen believes every survivor deserves more than protection—she deserves the opportunity to thrive.
This project will empower 50 women and girls with disabilities through rights education, community advocacy, psychosocial support, legal referrals, livelihood assistance, and engagement with traditional and community leaders to challenge harmful norms before violence occurs.
Your generosity can help transform lives.
A frightened survivor can become a confident advocate.
A vulnerable girl can become a future leader.
A community that once accepted violence can become a place where dignity, equality, and inclusion are the norm.
Real change begins when people like you choose to stand beside those who have too often been left behind.
Together, we can help women with disabilities reclaim their voices, rebuild their futures, and inspire lasting change across their communities.
