A staggering 53% of women with disabilities in Nigeria have experienced gender-based violence. These survivors face unique barriers to accessing support, often isolated by stigma and a lack of accessible services.
Our project responds by creating dedicated safe spaces for 50 women and girls with disabilities in Guma, Benue State. Here, survivors receive psychosocial counseling, legal assistance, and skills training. We also conduct outreach to educate families and communities about the rights and needs of disabled women, challenging the silence that allows abuse to persist.
Your donation makes these safe spaces possible. Every dollar helps protect vulnerable women, foster healing, and build self-reliance. By funding advocacy and awareness campaigns, you help break down the barriers that keep survivors in the shadows.
Together, we can ensure that every woman and girl—regardless of ability—has a place to turn and a community that stands with her. Your support brings safety, dignity, and hope to those who need it most.
