Project Report | Jun 4, 2018
Through the lens of rural children

By Jaya Chandrayan | Executive

Hi,

Hope you are doing well.

Dhwani program was conducted as a part of summer camp in the month of April for the children of APMS, Gudupalli. Dhwani is a media program, which brings out stories from children and lets them explore and express using the medium. Storytelling is carried out through the form of filmmaking in Dhwani where the children involved explore their talents. All the stories are curated and uploaded on an online portal, for the world to see what Agastya's children are capable of doing.

Media Arts lab instructors were part of story book making workshop conducted by IDC IIT Bombay. The intructors learnt about different techniques of story writing, character designing and illustrations.
