The Sprout Care foundation has continued to support one family with family feeding program through the kind donation of our donor. This project has provided both educational and health benefits to the vulnerable children in this family thereby increasing, reducing absenteeism at school, and improving food security of the household
Enhanced nutrition and health of the supported family has led to improved learning the targeted children and paved the way for healthier lives. This project has not only alleviated child hunger at home and school, but also enhanced nutrition.. This raises the potential to improve a child’s health, school performance and educational attainment. The project has enhanced the diet and increased the energy and kilocalories available to a child. It targets micronutrient deficiencies, which are widespread among vulnerable children in poorest of the poor households and which increase susceptibility to infection, leading to absenteeism and impairing learning capacity and cognition.
I wish to thank our donor for the willingness and continued support to this project
