Quarterly Report

During this reporting period, the organisation has continued to support vulnerable children households. The prices of everything have hiked, this is a global problem. Amidst the rising prices of basic commodities, 3 families were supported with bags of rice, soap, corn flour and wheat flour. As prices of commodities continue to rise, the supported families were able to get at least two meals a day. These families were selected on a criteria that they had more children aged under six years. These were protected from mulnutrition as they were able to feed well.
We appreciate all our generous donors for standing with us in such a challenging economic crisis.

The vulnerable people are characterized by low income, poor hygiene, ill health and poor access to clean and safe water. The organization supported medical treatment of 5 children that had different health related problems. All were admitted, discharged and now back home doing well.
During this reporting period one child headed family was supported to set up a potato garden that will help the family improve their food security. This family of four children will be able to attend school regularly. These confessed that sometime they don’t go to school because they have to work on people’s gardens for food. On addition to this, this family was provided with 25kgs of corn flour.
One household was supported to start a poultry project, this has reported improved nutrition as they are able to complement their meals with eating eggs, and more so this household is able to earn money from selling eggs and chicks to the neighbors.
We are grateful to our local and international donors for working with us to make our community a better place for the vulnerable children.

QUARTERLY REPORT
By Godfrey | Project Leader
As the global pandemic continue to affect economic activities of individual households.
The sprout Care foundation has continued to support vulnerable households. In this reporting period two families were supported with food. Five children were supported to access medical treatment and all recovered well.
Transportation of patients to a near by hospital was hectic as all vehicles are not allowed to move yet motorcycles are allowed to only carry cargo, amidst this challenging situation the organization through the donations from generous donors was able to transport the children to the hospital at different intervals for medical treatment.
Activities of this project are greatly determined by the total donations the organization receive. I wish to thank our committed donors that have consistently supported our activities.
Thanks
