Sustained family support
By Godfrey Sseremba | Project Leader
Sustaining a family is such a complex thing to a household head with no income or with an income that is less than $ 1 a day. Sprout Care Foundation has continued to support one family with nutritious food stuffs and medical support through the kind donation of our donor that chose to support this family.
It is evident that the supported family health has greatly improved. The supported family has continued to get three meals a day and above all nutricious meal that enhance good health. On addition to good health the family has been able to build a strong bond together as they are able to stay under one roof. The practice here is, if there no or enough food to feed the family children are sent to distant relatives which sometimes do not also have enough.
The continued support has therefore strengthened the family bondage.
Special thanks to our donor.

Sprout Care Foudation has continued to support one vulnerable household as identified. Together with the family and donor we all agreed to help the identified family improve their diet by providing balanced diet food to the family. This has improved the health condition of five children within this family. Before the youngest child who is below 2 yaers was getting sick atleast once every month. This was due to poor feeding and lack of improved diet meals.
The children are now doing well because they have something to eat that is of great importance to their live. According the the medical personel that used to take care of these children confirmed that the continued intake or eating of balanced diet meals by these children especially the youngest has boosted their immune system and led to disappearence of early signs of mulnutrion that were diagnosed.
Now that the children dont go to school on an empty stomach their perfomance at school has greatly improved. We acknowledge the generous support to our donor that chose to support this family.
We commit to continue helping this family and make sustainable projects to help the livelihood of this family.
Thanks
