The vulnerable people are characterized by low income, poor hygiene, ill health and poor access to clean and safe water. The organization supported medical treatment of 5 children that had different health related problems. All were admitted, discharged and now back home doing well.
During this reporting period one child headed family was supported to set up a potato garden that will help the family improve their food security. This family of four children will be able to attend school regularly. These confessed that sometime they don’t go to school because they have to work on people’s gardens for food. On addition to this, this family was provided with 25kgs of corn flour.
One household was supported to start a poultry project, this has reported improved nutrition as they are able to complement their meals with eating eggs, and more so this household is able to earn money from selling eggs and chicks to the neighbors.
We are grateful to our local and international donors for working with us to make our community a better place for the vulnerable children.
