Help Improve Financial Literacy in Deep East Texas

To All of Our Supporters,

It's already 2018 and we've hit the ground running! L.I.F.E. recently hosted our Inaugural Banquet which was a tremendous success. With over 150 guests in attendance, we were able to showcase our students who all were great in their presentations. The banquet afforded us the opportunity to get the word out in our community in a very personal way. 

We have been recently selected by the T.L.L. Temple Foundation to serve as the administrator of a newly formed small grants program designed to benefit the residents of North Lukfin. We've also had a largest enrollment into our Adult L.I.F.E. Personal Finance course since we began operating. Our partnership with the Men of Achievement (a student organization at Stephen F. Austin University) has yielded a student enrollment of over 30 for the current semester. 

As we strengthen our partnerships, L.I.F.E. will grow leaps and bounds. Thank you for your continued support and stay tuned!

• L.I.F.E. named Administrator for a Local Small Grants Program

Dear Supporters of L.I.F.E.,

Our expansion is continuing at a rapid pace! We currently have our largest student body since we began operations. We currently have over 50 students between all of our programs!

This semester, we have launched "Campus L.I.F.E." which is our program we've launched at Stephen F. Austin State University in partnership with Men of Achievement (a student organization). We have just over 20 students in this pilot program and will open the class up to the entire student body next semester. With the establishment of "Campus L.I.F.E.", we now have finalized our program offerings among our various target audiences.

- Adult L.I.F.E. (for adults)

- Campus L.I.F.E. (for college students)

- Generation A (for grade school students)

Generation A is the next area of focus for the upcoming quarter. We are currently in negotiations with a charter school in the Lufkin area as we seek partners to help launch this program. Once launched, our student population will increase beyond 100. 

While we are very busy, we are looking to do some great things in 2018. We would like to bring on a full-time employee, expand the Campus L.I.F.E. program to Angelina College, and expand Generation A to Lufkin I.S.D. Our goal is to educate 500 students in 2018 and we need your help! Please help us attain our goal of raising the much needed $50,000 for us to accomplish our mission!
