Covid-19 pandemic has emerged as a crisis all over the world, all countries have come in its grip and the infection spread so fast that the people did not get a chance to recover. During this pandemic there were some people who did not worry about their lives. They were protecting the people by performing their duties, these included health workers, sanitation workers, security personnel, and hygiene people. While performing their duty in this pandemic, they were protecting the people as a warrior.
RSKS Organization distributed hygiene and medical kits to these warriors for their safety. RSKS India distributed hygiene kits and medical kits to over 2500 health workers, security personnel and health workers at 29 places which included small and big sanitizer bottle, masks, hand gloves, safety shields etc. hygiene material. With the help of this hygiene kit, this warrior is able to perform his duty safely.
One of the sanitation worker told that with the help of Hygiene and Medical kit provided by the RSKS India, he was able to do the job of accessibility and cleanliness safely. This sanitary worker regularly used the masks, hand gloves, safety shields etc. provided by the organization. He used sanitizer to protect him from the Covid-19 pandemic along with ease in work.

During the Covid-19 epidemic, the whole country was locked down. All the people were in captivity at their homes in order to be safe but there were some people who lived in other cities for livelihood and employment. These people were far away from their homes at the time of lockdown. These migrant laborers were stuck in other cities, these migrant laborers had neither money nor food in such a situation, they left home with their family and had to travel on foot due to lack of transportation in lockdown. They did not even have slippers or money and soon they started running out of food.
RSKS India extended the helping hand to such migrant laborers with the help of GlobalGiving, small relief material such as slippers, fruits, food packet, masks and hygiene kit etc. were distributed to more than 300 migrant laborers. In the hot summer, these migrant laborers are walking on foot, they were given a bottle of cold water along with this, the children and women walking with migrant laborer were given nutritious fruits by which new energy was infused in them.
A migrant labour’s story was being asked by organizations representative. A young man Vinod (Name Changed)from a neighboring state lived here with his two children and his wife. After the lockdown, he was unable to go to his house. All his accumulated savings were exhausted. After which he decided to go back to their house on foot with her children and wife. The child did not even have slippers. RSKS INDIA distributed slippers, fruits, water bottles, masks etc to all the migrant labours. All the migrant labours praised and thanked RSKS India for this noble work.

Today the whole country is fighting unitedly in the battle of Corona, there is no cure of Corona yet. In such a situation, awareness and protection and prevention are the only solution. So it is necessary that all people are aware and alert about the corona, to stay safe and healthy. It is very important for people to follow the safety measures such as social distancing of 2 meters, wash their hands regularly, wear mask, do not go in the crowd etc.
Every effort is being made by RSKS India to spread awareness about the corona. In this series, 7 inaccessible villages have been selected by the RSKS Organization, in collaboration with GlobalGiving for wall paintings and 50 awareness paintings have been made for the general public. These wall paintings are giving awareness message. These wall paintings are made in public place/ where there is movement of people so that the visiting people are reading the message of covid-19. This wall painting is made from oil paint which will give awareness message to people for long time and will be helpful for people.
When we talked to the Leader of one village, he told that the awareness wall painting will definitely give a concrete message to all the people, so that people will follow the awareness and safety and precaution of the corona. The Leader in the village appreciated the noble work and public welfare of the Organization and also praised the work as well as gave best wishes. RSKS organization will continue the public welfare work in the future in order to make awareness, families safe, society and village will be safe and we will win the battle against Covid-19.

During the pandemic, one side where the entire lockdown was in place, the other side all the shops and markets were closed. During this time, women and girls living in the regional village and slums had to face difficulties. Due to non availability of sanitary napkins during menstrual period, women used non-traditional means such as cloth, cotton and newspaper. It could increase the risk of infection and also the risk of terrible diseases like cancer. In compulsion these women had to do it because of lockdown an economic problem in the family.
In such a situation, RSKS India organized a program of sanitary distribution in remote rural areas under the Covid-19 relief program in collaboration with GlobalGiving. Under this program, sanitary napkins pads were distributed to more than 1000 migrant, deprived, laborers, needy, slum girls and women.
In such a situation, this kind of relief brought a wave of happiness in the face of the needy women because due to economic problem she was unable to buy sanitary napkins but now for their safety they have sanitary napkins. She will be able to secure her menstrual health. One woman told us that there is only one shop where sanitary napkins were available but that shop was also closed in lockdown but now she is very happy as she got free sanitary napkin by the Organization for which she thanks.

The corona pandemic has brought a crisis all over the world, which has put people and community in trouble. This pandemic has affected the people from the lower strata who are working on a daily basis to nurture the family. The means of livelihood have been exhausted and financial crisis has come in front of them, in which daily wages labour and daily wage farmers, disabled, elderly women, migrant laborers etc are more prominent.
The relief program was organized by RSKS Organization for the following sections of people. This relief program is continuing from the time of lockdown. So far RSKS Organization has distributed ration kits and hygiene kits to over 1850 families in 55 and more villages. The kit has been distributed to more than 9200 people of more than 1850 families which included flour, pulses, rice oil, salt sugar, soap sugar, etc. and it is 20kg material. Along with this for the health these people hygiene kits have been distributed which included masks, Handkerchiefs, sanitizers etc.
Through this Ration kit, the poor and nomadic people will be able to get food protection for 3 weeks. This assistance was distributed by the RSKS India to the elderly women, daily wages laborers, etc. Now their food security is ensured and now these people get daily two time meals on time and because of hygiene kit these people will be able to meet and take care of their health and children.
Asha's Impact Stories:-
My name is Asha (Name Changed) and I am 35 years old. I have a husband and a son and four daughters in my family. Husband works as a daily wage laborer. The expenses of the house cannot be met by the daily wages, so I myself do the cleaning work at houses of other people. When the corona pandemic expanded its feet and lockdown was imposed, my husband and I also sat unemployed in the house which led our accumulated savings to an end.
After running out of savings, I started having ration problem in my house, many times during the time of lock down, there was only one time meal in my house. During this period, under the Covid-19 relief program run by RSKS Organization, I got ration kit and hygiene Kit.
This ration kit had flour, lentils, rice, spices, soap, salt, etc., which allowed my house to get food on time, as well as hygiene kit given to me by the Organization which had hygiene items like sanitizer, mask, handkerchief etc which I used to control and ensure the health and security of my families. I express my gratitude to the RSKS Organization, which helped ensure the food security of my family.
Nathi's Impact Stories:-
Nathi (Name Changed), a 66-year-old woman living in Masuda block, lives as a single woman. The family has the whole family to say but they have left Nathi in her position at the age of 66, she cooks herself and lives alone.
At the time of lockdown, Nathi had to face a lot of difficulties, she could not get out of the house and the money shortage problems started coming. Even the time came when there was no grain to eat in the house. People around her house helped her but after some time they were also unable to help.
During this time, ration kit was distributed by the RSKS Organization to Nathi under the relief program. The 20kg ration kit consisted of flour, pulses, rice, spices, salt, rice, etc. with the help of it, Nathi’s food security could be found and she was able to get regular food. Nathi thanks RSKS India and Donors, as with the help them her food security was achieved.
