Living life along with a disease is like a curse for poor people as it is very painful for the body and the mind as their financial condition gets poor and poor along with the increase in the time of the disease. Tuberculosis is such kind of disease which requires a lot of care and helathy foods. Poor people are unable to get these healthy nutritious foods in this time of corona pandemic as they are pretty expensive and eating them daily will surely increase the financial burden on their family as finding employment in this time is pretty difficult so what these people do is eat normal food which they can acquire and it leads to long lasting disease.
RSKS India saw this problem and is working for the poor Tuberculosis (MDR) patients from a long time. After the lockdown was imposed by the government due to the corona pandemic, RSKS India started distributing healthy and nutritious food to 25 poor Tuberculosis (MDR) patients every month and till now it has been five months and these food contained eggs, pulses, nutrella, fruits, etc. so that adequate amount of protiens, vitamins etc. can be reached to them. Along with this awareness program was also done with them in which social distancing, use of masks, importance of washing hands were the prime focus.
Tuberculosis (MDR) patients got improvement in their health condition after consuming this healthy diet of eggs, pulses, nutrella, furits etc. provided by RSKS India and also their was no financial burden on their families for buying this type of nutirtious food. Their family members got very happy while seeing the improvement in their health and also started following all the necessary information which RSKS India team members told them to fight against Covid-19.
An Beneficiry's STORY....
Sunita (Name Changed) a 30 year old woman is having 3 children and her husband is Tuberculosis (MDR) patient in the government hospital. Her husband worked as a daily labour before falling sick and after he was admitted to hospital, Sunita started to work in daily Labor in order to meet the daily expenses of the house and of the children. She used to visit the hospital daily in order to provide food to him but she was unable to provide healthy food everytime as her financial condition was very poor. From the supporting hand of RSKS India, her financial and mental load was reduced to lot of extent as RSKS India provided healthy and nutritious food to her husband every month by which the health condition of her husband started improving.

Today there are lot of bush fires, jungle fires etc are happening all around the world killing the flora and fauna of the world and all of this is happening due to the rise in temperature which is happening because of cutting of trees at a very fast pace and if this is not stopped today then it will be to late in the future and this rise in the temperature will be an end for all the living thing on our planet.
RSKS India is determined to create a better environment for everyone's future selves by planting and adopting trees. RSKS India involved and worked with the rural community and village officials and planted more than 200 fruitfull and shadowy trees in three different villages. local people came forward and digged the ground for the plants. Awareness workshop was also done with the community in which the usefullness of trees and importance of protecting our environment was told to everyone.
People took an oath to adopt the tree forever and will also look after them and water them time to time. These trees will be providing shadow in the hot summer in future and will be home for so many birds and animals. These trees will be a small contribution in decreasing the global warming all around the world. people also got aware about the benefits of the trees and from now will respect them and save them.

After the RSKS India team members planted trees along with the rural community in three different villages, leader of one village came forward and said that " I have never seen any organization working so good with the community. Village people are excited to work with RSKS and contribute their half in saving the environment, it is a mesmerizing moment to watch and all of this is a pure example of what people can achieve while working together. This great initiative from RSKS India is surely commendable and I appreciate the work done by the RSKS Team Members. Saving Environment by planting trees is a thing which everyone should follow.

An Impact: Meet with Beneficiary Romila.....
38 - year-old Romila (Name Changed) living in village Makrera is a disabled woman. Romila is having polio since birth. She is dependent on the family for her all work. Romila is a married woman and lives with her husband and three girls in a hut. The financial condition of the family is very pathetic. Husband goes to wages and from his earning house expenses are met. At the time of lock down, he faced a lot of problems due to unemployment. wages was completely closed and then shortage of ration became a problem in the house. Once a time came when Romila and her family could not even get food for two times. Some village people helped but after some time that they also gave up.
During this time, Romila was also selected under the category of handicapped under Covid-19 Relief program run by RSKS. Romila was given flour, rice, pulses, various spices, sugar, soap, oil, salt etc. 20 K.G. of ration material. Romila and her family were very happy as Romila and her family were in need of ration. Along with the ration kit, Romila was also given a hygiene kit which included masks, sanitizers, handkerchiefs etc. hygiene material by which she was able to protect herself and her family from the Covid-19 pandemic.
Today Romila is very happy because now her family's food security has been ensured and her 3-week ration is available. Romila herself wants to make employment so that she can also support the household expenses. Through the hygiene kit received by the RSKS, she was able to keep herself and her family safe from covid-19. Romila and her family thanks donors like you wholeheartedly as because of them only her food security is ensured right now.

An Impact: Meet with Beneficiary Manohar.....
Manohar (Name Changed), a 15 - year-old boy, lives with his family in the remote village in rajasthan, in which his mother and two siblings live. Manohar's father died in an accident after which the entire load of the family came to the mother. In his childhood he got electrocuted after which his hand was cut down and he became disabled. The family is dependent only on his mother who goes to the NREGA and earns income. Manohar’s elder brother work as labour and earns for his family. Due to financial crisis in the house, there was a problem of shortage of ration in the house. For some time, people around the house gave some help but after that they also gave up.
Since the starting of Covid-19, RSKS India’s relief program was going on for the needy people, daily laborers, people with disabilities etc. Under this program, ration was distributed to the family of Manohar. It was given at a time when there was not even a grain of ration in his house, so the family of Manohar knew the importance of the ration kit received. As soon as they got ration, smile can be seen at their faces. Ration kit had Spices, soap, oil, salt etc and by it their food security was ensured.
Manohar and his family regularly use the hygiene kit provided by the organization so that they can stay safe from Covid-19 and with the help of ration provided by the organization to ensure their three weeks of food safety so that they can get food on time. Now, his family does not need to spread his hand in front of anyone. Manohar and his family thank RSKS India, GG and Donor for their valuable support. Family members of Manohar want to open shop for future employment of Manohar, so that he will be able to do self employment and stand on his feet.
An Impact: Meet with Beneficiary Rami.....
49 - year-old Rami (Name Changed), living in Small Village, a Pushkar rural area, is a woman living in a hut. Rami lives with her husband and three girls. In the name of employment, they don’t have anything they go to temple and beg there and from that money they spend their lives. Only Rami's husband makes a living by selling coal. At the time of lockdown they faced many problems. During the Lockdown, begging was also impossible so they were unable to eat food. Her husband’s work also stopped. In the starting she got some help of food from donors but after that they had to live on their own.
RSKS India marked this location and with the support of GG & Donor, Ration distribution program was done in this location. Under this program, Rami also got ration as she needed this support the most. This ration kit included rice, spices, salt, oil, soap, flour etc. and it ensured 3 weeks of food security. Rami was very happy with the ration and that night after many days she at full diet. Along with Ration kit, Hygiene kit was also distributed in which there were sanitation materials like masks, sanitizers, handkerchiefs etc. which will protect them from Covid-19.
Now Rami and her family are getting two time meal on time for which Rami and her family wholeheartedly thanks the donor. This ration aid helped Rami greatly and ensured her food safety. Now Rami and her family are happy and her husband is employed and is earning some income and house expenses are met. Rami is afraid that in future, if this problem will come back then she is already preparing for it, So that Rami and her family will be safe and secure.
