Women and girls in many areas still face challenges such as limited access to education, healthcare, and economic opportunities. Gender inequality and restrictive norms often exclude them from community life and decision-making. Low awareness of women’s rights and the value of events like International Women’s Day further hinders their progress.
To address these challenges and promote gender equality, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan (RSKS India) organized International Women’s Day 2025 celebrations across three rural and urban locations. The initiative was designed to recognize the achievements of women, inspire future generations, and raise awareness about women's rights and empowerment.
As part of the celebration, RSKS India honored successful women from various fields, highlighting their contributions as role models in their communities. The event began with a joyful cake-cutting ceremony followed by a symbolic catwalk showcasing the diverse roles and lifelong work of women. It continued with a vibrant awareness rally through the streets, along with motivational speeches, cultural performances, dances, and engaging games. These activities aimed to foster a sense of unity, boost self-confidence among women and girls, and educate the broader community about the importance of gender equity.
The celebration saw the enthusiastic participation of over 350 rural women and girls, who came together in a spirit of empowerment and solidarity. By challenging traditional gender roles and celebrating the strength of women, the program made a meaningful impact on the community. The rally and outreach efforts helped to spark vital conversations about women’s rights and equality, creating a more inclusive and informed environment.
The chosen theme for the event, “Empower – Her Strength in Equality,” deeply resonated with participants. It encouraged women to embrace their potential and stand together in the pursuit of equal opportunities and dignity.
