Today, diseases caused by mosquitoes as malaria, dengue, etc. have become terrible and fatal for human beings. In rainy season, we often see stagnated water in rural as well as urban regions that provides favourable conditions for mosquitoes to get multiplied and grow. The probles is mostly seen in slums of the cities and in rural areas as the residents are not aware of the problem and thier awareness and carelessness make them victim of malaria, dengue and other such diseases.
Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan identified such 4 slums in the city where mosquitoes were heavily populated. Then, RSKS, with the support of GlobalGiving, organized awareness and cleanliness campaign. In the awareness program, our activists organized a workshop with the support of the localites and made them understand about the diseases caused by mosquitoes. The localites also listened the activists carefully and shared their problems that were resolved in the workshop. After the workshop, a cleanliness campaign was held in the localtiy in which the local residents participated with excitement.
The localites became aware of the issue through the awareness and cleanliness campaing held with the support of GlobalGiving. A localite told one of our activists that the problem of water stagnation in the slum is so common that gets contaminated, but now the locality has become clean and hygienic with the support of GlobalGiving Foundation and RSKS. Moreover, the residents have become aware of the problem for which the entire credit goes to GlobalGiving Foundation and RSKS and they thanked.

It is possible just because of the support of all respectable donors and supporters along with the dedicated performance of Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan's team. The organisation has achieved the awards for its significant contribution for distinct sectors.
1. Outstanding Performance Independence Day Award:- Zila Parishad office Ajmer has awarded Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan RSKS india with "Certificate of Appreciation & Award memento" in 15th August 2019, the occasion of 73th Independence Day Celebration Programme for the #RSKS India organization's performance of remarkable works for the welfare of deprived section in various areas as women Empowerment, Sustainable livelihood, Educational Development, Prevention violence against women. The Representative's of RSKS has Received this honour by District Head, MLA & Officers at District level.
2. RSKS India Honored by Village Assembly:- The RSKS India organization has been honored by Gram Panchayat (Village Assembly) Ganaheda, Ajmer for making a meaningful endeavor towards Women empowerment, Girls Education, Better Livelihood, Health. RSKS India representative received the certificate and memento trophy from Gram Panchayat Official.
3. 26th January, Republic Day, Best NGO Award: - On the ocassion of Republic Day, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan has been honoured with the letter of appreciation and memento for its significant contribution for women empowerment, Girl Education, Vocational Education etc by Deputy District Magistrate Office Pushkar. It is the Fourth time when Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan has been awarded by Deputy District Magistrate Office.
4. Guide Star, Transparency Verified Key: - Guide Star has awarded Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan to maintain a better level of transparency. Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan maintains transparency in all its works as governance, accountability, project, budget, management, charity and others. In the consequences, Guide Star has been awarding Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan with "Transparency Verified Key" reward for last Four years.
We get guidance from GlobalGiving Foundation through Webinar and Trainings, additionally, the donors keep encouraging us by giving comments in the project reports and giving us good marks in the reports. Dear Donors Namastey!
My name is Piyush Narang, and I am an India Field Traveller for this year with GlobalGiving. Every year GlobalGiving conducts site visits to around 100 non-profit partners of India to understand the work they are doing and their impact, and to support them better in their engagement with GlobalGiving. One of the organizations I visited this year was Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, Ajmer, which perhaps was also one of my most memorable and learning experiences.
RSKS is an organization which is run by an extremely passionate team and has taken consistent efforts to understand its community and their problems. The real strength of RSKS lies in its community, and they have successfully identified this. It is an organization which is truly for the people, of the people, and by the people. RSKS works with a heartfelt dedication and intention of empowering people, and does it successfully in different ways. Education, women empowerment, agriculture, environment, and livelihood are some of the broader spheres RSKS works in. Every intervention that RSKS does comes from the need of people.
RSKS is driven by an excellent leadership, clear vision, and years of experience. The interventions are well planned and structured, which shows the amount of time the team spends in research before launching any project. I am highly impressed by the way RSKS is being managed at macro and micro level. The documentation of every activity happening under RSKS is proactive and efficient, this is a wonderful step towards transparency of program and effective communication.
I am carrying along a piece of love, dedication, and vision that RSKS works with, and for these invaluable feelings I will always be grateful to it. To witness the change RSKS has created over the years of its service is nothing less than extra ordinary, and they will hopefully continue to do so.
Dear donors, thank you for being a part of this change. Every penny donated to RSKS is spent in the most judicial way possible and with the truest intentions. Many Greeting from RSKS India
Malaria and other diseases caused by mosquitoes have become a global problem that take thousands of lives including children. In order to solve the problem, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, under the project, organize workshops in mosquito affected regions to make the community aware of the problem and in addition to this organize cleanliness campaign with the support of the community.
RSKS, with the financial support of GlobalGiving Foundation, under the project, organized Malaria Day in the current session and on the occasion, RSKS indentified a slum locality and organized a workshop in the slum. The localites attended the workshop where our activists made them understand about the ways to be protected from mosquitoes, malaria and other diseases caused by mosquitoes. The localites became aware of the problem through the workshop and started cleanliness campaing in the slum under which they collected garbage from the locality and drained the stagnated and polluted water. At the completion of the program, RSKS distributed 25 mosquito nets. Among all the beneficiaries, there was an old woman who shared her thoughts with the Team RSKS.
Her name was Kaki and she lived with her son in a small hut in the locality. She told that dirty water got stagnated everywhere in the locality during rain that provided favourable condtions for the growth of mosquitoes that caused several diseases. Sometimes, she couldn't sleep at night due to mosquitoes. But now, the mosquito net given to her by RSKS will help her to have sound sleep. Kaki herself made the surrounding of her hut clean and contributed in the cleanliness campaign. Kaki and the localites thank RSKS and GlobalGiving Foundation for organizing the workshop and cleanliness campaign.
