HIV/AIDS campaign to be held in secondary schools
By Mbeng Simon Nsah | The Director BFF
Better Family Foundation (BFF) had been working very hard on the field to educate the youth on the HIV/AIDS issues. During this time BFF has held a series of meetings with the chiefs of Mentang health centre and Urban health centre Fundong as well as the Mayor Fundong Council sought ways by which aggressive HIV/AIDS campaign can be carried out in Government Secondary School Mentang, Government High School Aduk and Government Secondary School Ilung.
Having reached a concensus on the issue, Better Family Foundation went ahead to contact the Prinicipals of these colleges and so far, arrangements have been made concerning sensitization of students on the spread of HIV/AIDS and carrying out counseling and testing of HIV. As of now, BFF and the medical team in collaboration with the local council team is preparing to go down to the field by next week for the proper execution of project.
No money has been incurred for this purpose and BFF continues to seek support in order to get the required funds for the implementation of this envisaged project.
