HIV/Sex-ED Day Camp for Risk Youth in Cameroon is very necessary because of the growing negative effects of HIV/AIDS on the lives of Cameroonians. The supposed camp intends to address the HIV/Sex concerns of the inhabitants of Boyo Division in the North West Region of Cameroon. Since when this project was advertised, we have only been able to raise $100 through GlobalGiving. However, Better Family Foundation Management is doing all within our means to raise local resources and sensitize the communities towards the forthcoming HIV/Sex-Education Day Camp. In addition we have done a lot of planning on how we intend to carry out the camp. In doing this we have got manuals from other NGOs and are improving on them to meet the needs of these youth. As of now everything in respect to planning is almost done and we are only waiting for funds for the execution of the project.
The rapid spreading of HIV/AIDS in Cameroon is a cause for concern and needs special intervention by Better Family Foundation and other humanitarian organizations to sensitize risk youth from falling victim to this health hazard. We thank all those who have contributed towards this camp and are still inviting other people of good will to join hands with Better Family Foundation by contributing financially in order to realize the objective of this camp. On behalf of BFF Management, I wish to thank everyone who is contributing in whatever way to make the realization of the camp.
Accept my warmest regards,
Mbeng Simon Nsah
The Director BFF.
