HIV/AIDS prevention
By Mbeng Simon | The Director
During this period Better Family Foundation was privileged to win a contract from Fundong Municipal Council to sensitize the youths who were recruited to work on the construction of Fundong-Ndio road project. The money raised from the contract was used to compliment the funds raised through GlobalGiving for the HIV/AIDS campaign project. The young workers were sensitized on HIV/AIDS prevention on the work site, in different smaller groups and in different sessions as the road construction progressed. A total of three hundred and eleven (311) youths were sensitized on HIV prevention strategies. Considering that this activity was going on in a war environment, the BFF staff and the youths were heavily guarded by armed military men during the sensitization programs. In deed the young workers were very happy for the bravery of Better Family Foundation staff to accept the risk of carrying out such a project for their benefits. Better Family Foundation is thankful to all the stakeholders for contributing towards the realization of the project.

The Management of Better Family Foundation continues to thank all the stakeholders involved in the realization of this campaign program.
