So Many Dogs in Need
By Christina Francis | President

With the holidays approaching, we are not preparing for Christmas but rather accessing how we can help so many dogs in need. Every day we are overwelmed with requests to take in more dogs but we are limited by financial means and foster homes. We are looking to develop and implement a new program to recruit more foster homes so that we can help more dogs in need.
On a positive note, our Dani passed her Therapy Dog and Canine Good Citizen Advanced test and is now an official Therapy Dog. We are already scheduling visits with local schools and we are grateful that we are able to continue to give back to our community.
We are grateful for your continued support and we wish you all a very safe and happy holiday season.

Found in a Ravine - Abby and Newborn Babies
By Christina Francis | President

Abby and babies in the ravine
Abby found herself homeless and pregnant. She gave birth all alone in a ravine. Thankfully she was smart enough to go find a kind human who she alerted to her situation. We were contacted about accepting Abby and her 5 surviving babies into our program and we simply could not say no!
We are happy to report that as of this report, Abby's babies are now 3 months old and 3 have found wonderful and loving homes. Abby is learning to trust humans and has begun obedience to develop confidence in people and her surroundings and will be spayed in a few weeks.
As we are an all volunteer rescue group, we operate solely on donations. Without your support we would not have been able to accept Abby and her babies into the program. Thank you for your continued support.

Puppy Season in Full Swing...
By Christina Francis | President

New mom and babies
Puppy and pregnant dog season is in full swing! We accepted 5 puppies into our program, all from a high kill shelter. Sadly anyone over 10 weeks is not considered adoptable. All 5 of these puppies will be arriving into our program as well as a mom and her 6 newborn babies that were born in a ravine! Thankfully a good samaritan found them and brought them to the shelter. Sadly without rescue, nursing babies rarely survive in the shelter.
We continue to work with our local abuse case, Dani. She had one major surgery on her jaw but will need several more in the upcoming months. We are happy to report that Dani earned her Canine Good Citizen and if not adopted in the next several months, we will continue training in hopes of obtaining her TDI (Therapy Dog Title).
We hope that one day there will no longer be a need for rescue organizations as all animals will be safe. Until then, we will continue our work to save as many lives as we can. We cannot thank you enough for your continued support in our efforts to save so many against overwhelming odds.
