Dear partners,
Infections remain the leading cause of hospitalization and death among sickle cell children. Pneumonia, meningitis, malaria, and gastroenteritis can escalate rapidly, often triggering severe anemia or Acute Chest Syndrome. Enhanced vaccines — including pneumococcal, meningococcal, influenza, and regionspecific immunizations — dramatically reduce the severity of these infections.
Your support is helping us deliver enhanced immunization to sickle cell children who would otherwise be left behind. We are working with clinics, vaccination centers, and mobile teams to ensure children receive the protection they need.
With additional donations, we can expand vaccine access to more communities, support coldchain logistics, and reach displaced families who have missed critical doses. Every vaccine reduces the risk of a crisis — and every crisis prevented is a life protected.
Warmly,
