Help Us to Distribute Mosquito Nets to Protect Sickle Cell Children

By Elizabeth Elachi | Project Leader

Dear partners,

Malaria remains one of the most dangerous infections for sickle cell children. A single mosquito bite can trigger severe anemia, painful crises, and lifethreatening complications. In Northern Nigeria and displacement camps, families often sleep without protection, leaving children exposed every night.

Your support is helping us change this. We are preparing to distribute treated mosquito nets to sickle cell families in highrisk communities. These nets provide a simple but powerful layer of protection, reducing malaria exposure and preventing crises that often require emergency hospitalization.

With additional donations, we can expand this effort to reach more families, supply nets to entire camp clusters, and train caregivers on proper use and maintenance. Every net protects a child who cannot afford another crisis.

Thank you for standing with these children.

Warmly,
