 Dear Friends,                                                                                                                                                   13-May-2017

April Went well. Our older students in other schools and those within our GLV continue to enjoy their lifetime at GLH to the Glory of God. I share Grace’s Story who Joined GLH miserably and now living a happy girl.

GLH staff met grace at small trading centre called Bwaise around 300 M away from the GLH. The staff had gone to take lunch there in one of the Hotels were a 7 year Grace was working as Cater Waiter. As Grace opened Hotel cupboard, to serve the Customers, the entire top shelf collapsed and about 10 heavy glass oven pans fell on her causing her Injuries due to cuts, scrapes, scratches and punctured skin. Instead of Immediate care by the Employer (Boss) , she further beat her up for causing glass loss. This made the staff intervene, helping Grace to get First Aid and dragged the employer to Police for ‘’Child Abuse’’.

The story really continues, Grace explains how she came to live with the employer was after Losing her parents and came looking for a Job to sustain her life and perhaps go back to school.

GLH immediately took a step to help Grace by adopting her, taking her back to school etc.

Today, Grace is a living Testimony developing her sewing skills at GLV. She can now sew shirts, skirts, Trousers, re-purposing old skirts into shirts… She hopes to live a happy Life after GLV when she has fully learned employable skills of sewing… We thank you all for being behind Grace and please continue the spirit...

For Just $30, you can help one girl attend Vocational education and Feeding for one month at GLV
