Our orphanage (GLH) has helped over 30 girls, both pre- teen and teenage, since its inception through education resulting in both prevention and empowerment. We have trialled a post primary vocational home and need to extend it
Many of the girls we help through GLH have lost parents and we need to provide support, love and care beyond primary level.
A unit giving Vocational training (hairdressing and dressmaking) together with empowerment leading to healthy choices (reducing pregnancy etc). We have run such a unit for a year and want to continue and extend it. (Cost per girl is approx USD 857 a year) Similar support needs to be given to our students who go on to secondary
