Girls demand investment in their leadership

By Medha Sharma | President

Visible Impact is proud to share that with your generous support, we have been able to improve the lives of so many earthquake-affected girls in Nuwakot of Nepal.

Visible Impact believes in beneficiary partnered innovation and keeps the girls development at the core of its programs. As such, our workshop models are girlsful, full of fun and hands on skills, so that the girls enjoy what they are learning, retain them and utilize them as important life skills. For eg: Last few months, we have done workshops on public speaking and advocacy with them. At the end of the workshop, the girls were able to identify the advocacy needs in their community, and enthusiastically participate in them

How beautiful it is when the adolescent girls can demand for improved girls development program and more resource allocation from the local Government for their village, that is exactly what we want to achieve and we are quite near. We are hopeful because this year we had 12 more girls joining the circle, new local partners and renewed collaboration with the local authorities.
