It may be April, but for some of our supporters, the holidays and wishes of others are always on their minds. Even though the Family Giving Tree gets an early start at collecting exact wishes in August, several of our community partners wanted to start even earlier. That is the case with one of our long-time supporters, Compass Realty.
For over a decade, they have supported our mission of providing the exact wished-for gift to children, families, seniors, and adults throughout the Bay Area during the height of the Holiday Wish Drive. Now, they are making wishes come true during other times of the year as well. Recently, they came to us and let us know they were throwing a spring fundraiser for Family Giving Tree and the Holiday Wish Drive in April. April!
In doing so, they support the community and provide joy that will be realized in eight months. We can approve wishes earlier, knowing their support has helped make it possible! And anyone can do it. Throwing a fundraiser can be as simple as starting a fundraising page and sharing with friends and family. Our resource page has everything you need to get started.
