Joy!
You did it! You made a difference this holiday season. Because of you, 80,000 low-income children, individuals, and seniors in-need received holiday gifts. To give you an idea on the scope of whom we serve and where, below are some statistics on the 2017 Holiday Wish Drive:
- 400+ partner agencies in 65 cities
- 13 counties around the Bay Area
- 69% were children under the age of 13
- 8% were families with children under the age of three years old
- 7,000 volunteers in warehouse
Your generosity spread everywhere across the Bay Area this holiday season. Chances are you delivered joy to someone who lives near you. Thank you for all of your support and dedication. None of it would be possible without you.

A Day of Celebration

A grateful agency picking up gifts!
Today is a day of celebration for many; families are gathering in homes across the nation enjoying time together. As you open your own gifts today, please take a moment to think about those most in-need opening gifts for the first time and imagine their joy. Without your support, that warmth would be missing from their holiday experience. Because of you, many local, low-income families are opening their specific wished-for gifts as a part of the merriment.
There is still much work to be done. Thousands of gifts have already been distributed from our warehouse but we still have many more gifts to deliver, including wishes on our waitlist. A final count will not be ready until the New Year but we wanted to take a quick break to share our thanks for your generosity thus far.
Thank you from the bottom of their hearts and ours.

Holiday Wish Drive 2017

Wishes fulfilled
The leaves are changing, the nights are cooler, the days are shorter, and Halloween candy in stores signals that summer is officially over. The holidays are fast approaching. For many, this is a time of celebrating gift giving with family and friends. For those we serve, it is a reminder that they cannot provide those happy memories for their children.
Family Giving Tree has already been preparing for December since July to collect wishes from the over 300 partner social service agencies in the twelve counties we serve. We can’t do it alone. You can provide 80,000 Bay Area children and individuals in-need with joy by granting their specific holiday wish.
During this Season of Giving, your donation will provide joy to children like Aundrey, age 5, from our partner agency Betty Howard Day Care wishes for a Doc Mcstuffins Doc Doll or a Princess sleeping bag.
You have the opportunity to give joy to someone who doesn’t expect the community to care. Will you take it?
