Dear Friend,
In the last four months, 58 (out of 216) young mothers, pregnant women and babies were examined in the center. Nevertheless, the greatest value of the center is not only providing basic medical services, but also helping the women to demand their rights. An example for this is how the doctors working in the center convinced their colleagues from Ramus laboratory to provide free cytological and microbiological examinations (even the uninsured women have this right according to Ordinance 26).
The donations we received in the past months (around $300) were invested into maintaining the medical center and buying all consumables. In the next months we will support the center with another equipment purchase. The doctors in the center need an Electrocoagulator so they can respond another health issue many of the women in the neighborhood have more and more often.
We could have not accomplished all of these small but significant victories without you, our friends and supporters. On behalf of the women and children whose lives you have touched, and from our team, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You are a true blessing.
Thank you!
Olya
