Putting smiles on children before exam
By Lucas Fwamba | project leader
Our feeding program in school is one of the best inspiration of children that keeps them in school. Most the children come from poor families which they cannot afford a meal thrice a day. They go to school without breakfast, some even miss lunch. They can only afford supper only. You find that during exam period they cannot manage to stay hungry and concentrate. Most of them miss exam intentionally. As organisation we decided to have a food program to the children who are doing thier national examinatiom by providing food and other basic needs during this exam period. This has enabled them to do their exam well. We intend to continue with this program next year and reach out more children. The children are so happy about it and they love being in school always.
We would like to appreciate our donors for your support towards this project. Despite of many financial contraints you have always been there for us.

Children voices festival
By Lucas Fwamba | project leader
Children voices festival is an annual event that brings Juhudi Children and other children together to celebrate and play together. This years fastival was outstanding because we registered many children across the county. The theme of the festival was " Promoting children talents" We had a number of activities that was done by children i.e. lifeskills games, arts, photography, singing among others. Children showcased their different talents which was hidden. Their voices was heard and appreciated. We had different speakers whom we invited to speak with them and guide them on the right path they should take. The climax was jioni ya msani(Evening artist) where every child showcased their talent like dancing and singing.
I want to take this opportunity to thank our able stakeholders, donors and well-wishers for making this day successful. Without your financial and moral support we wouldn't have make it. We are looking forward to hold another one next year in August.

Children voices festival 2022
By Lucas Fwamba | Project manager
Dear Donors,
Greetings from Juhudi children in crisis. We humble to get back to you after the covid19 pandemic outbreak. We are doing well with our feeding and education project for children. This year we have started well with the children voices festival which was suspended due to the pandemic. We organised one in April 14th to 17th 2022.We brought children across Trans-Nzoia East subcounty to come together for a common goal. We had a number of activities like life skills games, arts, photography, football among others.
Our main objective was to identify different talents from this children and nurture them. Most of this children came from poor families, getting basic education is a problem. Some of this children shared their stories. Most of them their parents can't afford 3 meals a day, becoming difficult for them to attend school frequently. As organisation we decided to help them through their parents to have some income generating activities that will help them get some money to buy food.
Your continued support will enable us to accommodate more children in this projects.Thank you so much.
