Feed & Educate an Orphan Child for a year in Kenya

Dear Donors,

Greetings from Juhudi children in crisis. We humble to get back to you after the covid19 pandemic outbreak. We are doing well with our feeding and education project for children.This year we have started well with the children voices festival which was suspended due to the pandemic. We organised one in April 14th to 17th 2022.We brought children across Trans-Nzoia East subcounty to come together for a common goal. We had a number of activities like life skills games,arts, photography,football among others. 

Our main objective was to identify different talents from this children and nurture them. Most of this children came from poor families, getting basic education is a problem. Some of this children shared their stories. Most of them their parents can't afford 3 meals a day, becoming difficult for them to attend school frequently. As organisation we decided to help them through their parents to have some income generating activities that will help them get some money to buy food.

Children are blessing from God. Juhudi children care about all children especially those with special needs and orphans. This christmas festive we organized a sport day for children to have fun,eat and drink together. We had alot of activities such football,egg race,tag of war among others. The essence of the event was to bring children together and have fun especially during this christmas festive. We had more than 50 kids from the community converging together for that. This included children under the age of 15 years and below. We touched the lifes of this children and they went home happy. How i wish we could have this event every month to accomodate all this children.

We sincerely thank you for your continued support thoughout. Without you people,this children wouldn't smile this way. I urge to continue supporting us and we will change lifes of children forever. Merry christmas and happy new year 2021.

Sinyereri primary school kids are part of our feeding and education program. During our visitation  to our partner schools we normally give them gifts and donation to the kids atleast to boost their learning. This round the above mentioned school received 100 textbooks  and other materials for teaching aids. Most of this items were bought through your donations for the project. The school was very happy especially the pupils for the materials and thanked us. We have planned to visit those schools that we work with atleast we support them with enough materials for learning.

We are also planning to visit some childrens home and support them too. Our wish is to reach more vulnerable children. This year we have projected to reach more children as we help them. Your continued support is keeping us going. We really appreciate your generocity and God bless you abundantly.  

At Juhudi children in Crisis we value children so much by creating space and feeding them to improve their health lifestyles. We had an one day event on 16th June 2021 to celebrate the International Day of the African Child. Our objective was to align to African Union theme of accelerating the implementation of 2040 for an African Child. We were glad to be hosted by TYSA Kenya one of our partner organisation and the was successfull. The children came from one of our partner schools i.e. Sinyerri Primary school,in Trans-Nzoia County.We had alot of activities that we did with children just to mention a few; playing football,lifeskill games e.t.c.

Since the corona virus pandemic outbreak in the world everything remained stand still. Our children remained at home, no school from March 2020 to December 2020. We resumed back to school in January 2021. The feeding program and education is now ongoing as usual. The children are now happy in school. Staying with this children at home was not a easy work. 

As Juhudi we have tried our best to accomodate them and ensure that they are safe,healthy and learning. We provide them with face masks and other neccesities needed in the school for their safety from the pandemic. It has become easy for us to monitor and support them while they are in school. 

We would like to thank you donors for the outstanding job you are doing to support this children by making sure they have food,education and shelter always. Thank you so much your continued support.
