Challenge

There are an estimated 1.7 million orphans in Kenya. An estimated 700 children are orphaned every day. Most of these children withdraw from school due to lack of family support. Malnutrition increases the chances of children dying from diseases.

Solution

The project is providing 700 orphan vulnerable children with life essentials such as food, uniforms, medical care and more so education as the only means for pulling them out of poverty.

Long-Term Impact

For too many of the vulnerable orphans, obtaining an education is an elusive goal. This project believes and invest in education as one of the means for pulling them out of poverty. Once educated, the child will find value and meaning in life.
