Feed & Educate an Orphan Child for a year in Kenya

Dear Donors,

I take this opportunity on behalf of Juhudi Children In Crisis to thank you for your kind support towards our project. The project has transformed many lifes of children especially during this time of corona virus.The food shortage has been a challenge to many families. This is where as organisation through your support came in to provide food for them and other personal effects. Apart from that we have engaged them in community based learning that will keep busy since the schools has not resumed back. We hope that the government will open schools soon so that this children can return to school immediately. As organisation we get hard time working with them in the community than in school.

This year we havent planned any major activity with them due to government restriction but we will continue with community visits as we wait for resumption. I therefore pray that corona will end soon and we will work smart as usual.Thank you so much for continued support.

Since the outbreak of corona virus in Kenya. As organisation we have faced alot of challenges especially in running of our programs. The need is so high especially for children we support. The number has increased. Since the schools are closed and learning has resumed back,all the children are locked in their homes. This has given us the mandate to accomodate them in our project by supporting with basic needs like food and protective gears. 

As organisation i want to appreciate our donors through globalgiving for their financial support especially during this time of covid-19 pandemic. Although the funds is not enough to reach more children affected by the virus but we are trying to ask for aid from other agencies to support our project.We expect  the government to do something on supporting the children. As Juhudi we are trying our best to make sure the children are safe and healthy.

Since the inception of the feeding program in school today we have seen the great impact of the project. The project has transformed these children in a way that everybody now wants to be in school. Especially during this period of time most of the families cannot afford 3 meals per day. Also the cost of living has rise up and the price of foodstuffs has increased to a level where only the rich can afford. During this time is when most of these children prefer going work in farms with their parents to get food. But now the food is provided in the school so that they can remain always in school.

I want to appreciate the donors/well-wishers for supporting this project wholeheartedly. Your kind contribution has really helped these children to remain in school forever. Even the performance has improved so much and we expect good results at the end of term. Thank you so much

TOUCHING LIVES OF CHILDREN DURING THIS CHRISMAS FESTIVAL

It is has been a great year for our project in helping children by giving them shelter, food, clothes and other basic needs. As organization we want recognize our donors for their generous contribution towards the project. We say thank you for standing with us. As we end the year we have organized an end year giving day for our children. We celebrate together with our beneficiaries as we end the year. It is our wish that we invite you as our partners to support this day by donating atleast $10 to help us make this day successful. These children are our future generation and we need to mould them in a way that they will become important people in the society. Let us join hands and support these children. Juhudi children is a community based organization working with orphan and vulnerable children and girls at risk of dropping out of school due to early marriage. The organization based in Trans-Nzoia County. Their main focus is to help this young children and girls to arrive at their dreams. High rate of girls getting married has become the main challenge across the county. Also children from poor background and orphans don’t attend school regularly. Most of these children are used in big farms to work so that they can get food. They don’t get time to go to school daily because they can’t go hungry in school. As Juhudi we have tried our best to reach children and talk to their parents to allow them to be in school as we provide basic needs for them. This is why our feeding program in school has helped such children to remain in school. This program has really helped but the challenge is that there is high demand from the community. It is our wish to extend this program to many schools but we need more funds for these. The little money we get from our well wishers, friends and donors has boosted the program a lot and taken it to next level. We are thinking of a business model for the parents to boost their financial kit. The business is meant for the parents of these children so they can get money to cater basic needs for their children.
