Dear Impulso friends and family,
Impulso Universitario is very excited to share with all of you, that this new school year, we receive 76 students in our 4 locations in Yucatan: 27 in Merida, 24 in Tizimín, 15 in Valladolid and 10 in Oxkutzcab. Totally there are 280 students that are participating in our program. They study various careers, both public and private universities. Most of them, come form communities in the interior of the state of Yucatán.
In this couple last months we select this new class. There were selected from 276 young people who apply to our call. Last saturday, we started with the activities of our Comprehensive Training Program with the attendence of all our students, volunteers, team, donnors and board members. In this session, we gave recognition to he volunteers who completed the certfication course that started in last february, 2024.
Also in this last months, our psychology staff enterviewed our students who completed the school year, to received their grades, follow up and support them. The finantial aid continue as always.
Finally we say thanks to our donnors and remains that if they wish to know more about our activities, please do not hesitate to contact us.
