Empowerment Through Education

(October 2021)

We are glad to share with you all our progress report during this period.

Industries & functioning that were crippled due to the Corona epidemic have now resumed, So the kids and all of us are excited to work enthusiastically. The children are very happy because we heard that schools will resume soon.Life seems to be recovering from a broken routine for the past 1.5 year.

Let's take a look at the activities that have taken place in the past period.

Academic Review

  • Children who appeared for the 10th standard have passed the 10th standard with good marks. This year, due to Covid all the children has passed all the exams without giving the actual test, so many children have benefited from it, but some of them feel that their hard work has been wasted. All the children were appreciated and sweet distributed for their success. All the children have been felicitated by the honorable guest & President of Manavya. Our trustee members was also present at that felicitation ceremony.
  •  One of our girl successfully completed the 2nd year diploma in “Fashion & Textile Designing” and scored a good mark in this academic year. She is master cutter and head of the “Vijayashree” tailoring unit started by the above 18 years of girls under the supervision of Manavya.
  •  One of our volunteers “Bookwalla Foundation” takes story telling activity of children on each Sunday of every month visited Manavya Gokul this period to interact with the children. Children benefit a lot from this storytelling session. They have developed a habit of reading and also an ability of right perception.Reading makes children's thoughts stronger because of this session.

   It’s a time of celebration

This period is full of celebration and joy.We have celebrated Rakhabandhan, Gurupournima, Gokul Ashtami, Ganesh Jayanti at Manavya Gokul Home. These festivals bring excitement and enthusiasm to life. For these festivals children always come together, prepare for the festival with great enthusiasm, organize various fun games, Comes nicely with nice costumes.

Special Event arranged for children

It is our intention to celebrate various innovative activities on the occasion of the organization in its silver jubilee year. Manavya is always at the forefront of fulfilling the wishes of the children. One of the best activities we have conducted is "Children's Bucket List". The children also expressed their small desires through written on paper. All these wishes were collected in a closed earthen pot and on 18/9/2021 this pot was broken in the presence of all the trustees, staff and all the children of the Manavya. The children expressed their desires freely. Some of them want to go for a walk, some of them want to do hoteling, some of them want to learn sports and some of them want to learn various arts. We will definitely try to fulfill all the wishes as soon as possible. We will need your help for the same.
