Empowering 50 HIV+ kids in India through education

Dear well-wishers..!

We are presenting our report for this period. The current lockdown which has been going on for months now has made all the children fed up of the same lifestyle. The introduction of online classes is having profound impact on the minds of our children. 

They are exposed to much more creative thinking than they were when they were confined to school boundaries. The online education is helping the children to learn in an innovative way. The children are exploring new ways of making study interesting. 

The students from 1st to 7th standard have come up with the new ideas which they have implemented in a unique way. They have made a fort from the clay which required a lot of patience and dedication. Also they have made a palanquin out of the materials which were available to them. It is really appreciable because it is very hard to find things in the present situation and hence we are really proud of them. 

A student from 10th standard has made a herbal hand sanitizer. He has assimilated surroundings to make this sanitizer. Keeping in mind the importance of hand sanitizer especially in the current situation. He has done a great job in understanding the need of the time and working for a better future. 

While doing all this things they are also taking utmost care to save themselves and their family members from this pandemic, they are maintaining proper hygiene, keeping safe distance from each other and we are helping them in doing so.  

We are really thankful that in this crucial situation all our well wishers are donors are supporting us for their education, nutrition, & medication as well.

 We are very glad to have partner with the world’s famous charity organization GlobalGiving Foundation to work for orphan and needy children. This project provides an excellent education & opportunities to these orphan children for holistic growth and development which will put them on the path towards the bright future of their career.

 Educational Highlights:

• Now children have started preparation for their final examination. They have started to solve last 2-3 years paper patterns of final examination. Their tuition teacher Mr. Yatin sir taking more efforts for their examination such as to give surprise test, to give children important questions to solve, extra classes to resolve queries of the children etc. 

• Our 3 girls of Fashion Designing course are actively participating in the various activities of the collage. They are doing their course of 2 years very sincerely. They have learned to stitch new various patterns of dresses such as party wear dresses, lehenga’s from saree, various new styles of kuties etc. They have also scored good in their theory examination.

• We are happy to share with you all that one of our boy Ganesh got selected for interstate level project on “Making durable goods from the waste”. Ganesh studying in 6^th std at Zilla Parishad School run by government in the premises of Manavya. The school has been participated in the interstate competition 500 students has been participated in the competition and from this count 150 students were selected. The  Ganesh was selected amongst the 150 participants for this project. He also got 1^st prize & certificate for this project. He made a nice flower vas, calendar, showpiece from the waste. We really appreciate his efforts & skill.
