Imagine being a parent and not knowing what you will feed your children tonight.
This is the reality facing many vulnerable families in Karamoja.
The latest 2026 IPC assessment found that 473,000 people—32% of the analysed population—were facing Crisis or Emergency levels of acute food insecurity.
The situation is especially severe in several districts, including Kaabong, Kotido, Karenga, Moroto and Nabilatuk.
The nutrition situation is equally alarming. Approximately 30,600 children are projected to experience severe acute malnutrition during the March 2026–February 2027 period.
Good Cause Foundation Uganda is appealing for support to help families survive the immediate crisis and begin rebuilding their food security.
We want to provide emergency food support while helping vulnerable households access seeds, agricultural knowledge and practical farming skills.
Objectives:
Your donation can be the difference between a family going without a meal and a family receiving the food it desperately needs.
Please give, share, advocate and partner with us.
