EDUCATION

Our children go to school and schools are opening up on 9-09-2019. Each group has to monitor the reporting of their children at the right time of learning at different levels, nursery, primary, secondary and University.

PERFORMANCE

When term two closed the children brought in their results. The results of our children were promising and most of them were above average.

FEEDING AT SCHOOL

Our children feed at school. The food from last May to end of the year is provided for. We had planned for their food for term two and three of 2019.

FEEDING AT HOME

The child headed families’ children food at school and there is provision from them to feed at home and also children who stay with the elderly women from the funds received after May from River Fund..

SCHOLASTIC MATERIALS

Scholastic materials have been provided in early months of this year as we provide at the beginning of the year. We are keen to see to it that materials for the children that aid their good learning are at hand.

FEES TOP UP

We spare money for children’s top up of the fees in every group and this is a task to every group for the smooth learning of every child.

HEALTH CARE

We make sure our children keep healthy, they look healthy. We train them in early reporting when they are not feeling well for early treatment. Our children get quick treatment to keep healthy.

HIV/AIDS

Some of our children come from HIV/AIDS and some were born with AIDS and take care of them as there is need for ARV’s drug. We make sure they get their drugs in time and get treatment. Some have no money to go for clinics where is  need the group members make this provisions counseling is always done by  the counselors fit in their age groups not to be isolated.

CHILD HEADED FAMILIES

These are children who head families. They have no parents not even grands.

We make sure there is food. Example maize and beans. They eat at school; we provide some food to eat home.

We provide beans, maize, and ground nuts for panting this season.

DEVELOPMENTS

One child headed child, the one we trained in brick laying is now employed in Kenya and can assist his brother and the young sister.

We lost our elderly women but, she has left children and we are taking care of the remaining children. There is somebody in the family who has accepted to help us take care and we have given him seeds to plant for them.

CHALLENGES

We lost one of our elderly women who left two children of her late son.

SUGGESTION

Tour for our OVC’s is needed if possible.

God bless you
