Education
We make sure that every school age going go to school
Schools are closing up from 29th/November to 6th/December and we are expecting them at home
Reference:
We are looking to seeing their exam leaving results as schools close
Feeding at school:
We had enough food for our children to feed them up to the end of the term III (three) but no food for the children as the year 2020 begins. We should buy food our children.
Feeding at home:
The feeding of these homes never ends. We feed them throughout the year. We are running short of food everywhere.
Scholastic materials:
We are looking forward to buying them in case funds are realized because they aid the children learning.
Uniforms:
We pray that funds are realized so that we buy uniforms since most schools open up in January.
Fees top up
We put up some little funds to top up fees for some of our children.
Health care:
We have to see to it that our children keep healthy. We have trained to report early in case they are sick we also encourage them to eat a lot of fruits to keep them healthy. We make sure that they are clean and access treatment whether they are sick to keep healthy.
HIV/AIDS:
Some of children we take care of come from HIV/AIDS families some were born with a virus, it is our duty to take care of them and make sure they are not isolated from the groups where they belong, We make sure they get drugs as scheduled .all these are followed by counseling by the trained members.
Child headed families:
These are the cases of HIV/AIDS, families the mothers and fathers gone, the elder child becomes the leader of the family. We are always particular on them. We make sure that they are recognized by the group members. We always keep beans and posho for them when members return beans or maize we give it to them.
Developments:
Our children are going home for holidays and no debts with people because of food for our children.
Challenges:
We have had a lot of rain and the yield of maize, beans, and other crops is not doing well.
Suggestions:
We are looking forward to buying scholastic materials and uniforms in early January if funds are realized in time
God bless you.
