Serving over 85,000 students, educators and educational organizations in 60 countries with award-winning and authentic storytelling from across the globe, SIMA Academy brings Media Literacy, Critical Thinking, Global Citizenship and Cross-cultural education via first-class storytelling resources to learners worldwide.
Selected from the finalists and winners of the annual Social Impact Media Awards, SIMA Academy is a global, ever-current and expansive streaming platform presenting the gold standard of social issue cinematic storytelling. It provides access to a carefully curated collection of over 200 award-winning short documentaries and Virtual Reality films with learning resources and participatory skill-building lesson plans.
For the second time, we celebrate that SIMA Academy has won the prestigious EdTech Award in the Content Provider category. Celebrating its 13th year, the EdTech Awards is the world's largest awards program for education technology, recognizing the biggest and most innovative names in edtech. Thank you EdTech Digest for this distinguished award.
We are thrilled to keep growing our library of inspiring films with 17 new titles spanning five continents with topics ranging from indigenous rights and wisdom, climate change, arts and health to business and economics.
Also, this month we announced a pioneering course on Regeneration and the Inner Development Goals (IDGs) in partnership with UNESCO-APCEIU. The online learning experience is designed to provide young leaders with forward thinking concepts, frameworks, and skills to lead transformational change. The course will tap into SIMA Academy’s Regenerative Leadership Spotlight that features 19 eye-opening and inspiring stories of individuals and communities showing how a holistic approach to self, societal and environmental well-being is not only possible but better for all.
Finally, we are proud to share that SIMA Academy was selected as presenting and content partner at the annual Changemaker Conference hosted by the Frankfurt International School in Germany.
Thank you so much for your ongoing support!
With warmth and gratitude from all of us at SIMA Academy
