BASS gets an award from Government
Many Greetings and good wishes to you from the BASS, India!
We are very sad to inform you that we are in difficult situation to run the project for the last three months as our government has stopped support for the schools which we are running as per their agreement and even they did not paid the staff salaries for the last 7 months.
With all our efforts we have succeed to establishes 5 education centers with all your kind initial support at the remote slums in Guntur district where children are out of schools due to unavailability of schools. Within a short period we get recognized and get support from the Government of Andhra Pradesh through Rajiv Vidaya Mission. Initially we are very happy that the government has recognized and acknowledged our services and facilitate their support to pay the staff remunerations. But unfortunately the government has
stopped not able to extend their support from June 2012.
Therefore we are extremely in trouble and forcibly stopped two schools due to no support. But still we are engaged volunteer there to provide education to the children. Hopefully we can continue these two school also very shortly with your support.
Moreover we are not able to get sufficient supporters from the project in Global Giving even this project is exists almost 14months. And still we did not get the raised donations from the Global Giving for a long period because of fewer amounts raised sofar.
Currently we are running three schools only at Dasaripalem, Siddhartha Stone Crushers and swarnabharathinagar slum for 150 children to provide primary education with our contributions. We don’t want to stop the schools in these locations because which are situated in remote areas and children will be lost education again if we stop.
Therefore we are humbly requesting you to kindly promote this project to many people and networks to support the children in need to continue education.
We are also very happy to inform you that our organization gets a best appreciation award from the Government of Andhra Pradesh on our National Independence day on 15th August 2012. ( only two organisations gets this award for this year include ours is one)
Thank you so much to you all because of your kind support only we are getting an opportunity to run this project in 5 locations and which leads us to get a best award to serve children in need.
We are very happy to get your best remarks and suitable suggestions for this project to have big success.
With all our kind wishes and greetings!!!!!!!!!
