A Man is the hero planting trees for the better environment near coastal belt Jati

 

AHD is working in rural poor communities, promoting sustainable solutions for the betterment of rural population, the planting tree and construction of Fuel Efficient Cooking Stoves at household level. Mr. Herro Planted 500 tree on the 30 acres of agricultural land in 2012-2013 and now the lands looks highly green and pleasant in look.

AHD selected Mr. Heero a volunteer for AHD tree plantation project, during the 2016 Mr. Heero planted 210 more trees and further AHD staff planned to use Mr. Heero skills for framer trainings and increase tree plantation at household level.

Some 29 houses needs to re-build before incoming Monsoon Season

 

AHD working in rural villages of Matli & Badin district, during the visit of AHD Shelter team in villages near Matli the status of houses is very poor in maintenance and the fear that incoming monsoon will affect them and poor women and children will face difficult situation during monsoon.

We at AHD share update that we need urgent support to help poor families in roof maintenance and some mud plaster needed on houses. In this regard US $ 350 needed to support hem in roof and mud plaster by them. AHD will pay only small porting to poor women that they can be able to purchases roof material and wood if any.

Urgent: Safe drinking water necessary in Monsoon Season, we need donation to support more families

With reference to the AHD Model safe drinking Nadi filter, as you all know the Nadi filter technology promoted in more than 2,500 families till to date and about 27,500 people have access to safe and clean drinking water at their household level.

You also know Monsoon start in Sindh and we need more support from your side to help more families, we plan to help 500 families in this monsoon season for this purpose we need some US $ 7,500, so far reached 1,200 US $ this month, we still need US $ 6,300. I hope you all once support in small donation will help us to reach in this quarter to 500 families and about 4,500 more people will have access to safe and clean drinking water during this monsoon season.
